Your contribution helps support our commitment to helping recovering alcoholics and addicts change their lives, become permanently clean and sober, be civil and productive members of our society.

Community Partnership Program

Allowing us to use your business or residence as a drop site for collection bins makes it possible for STEPS to serve individuals in recovery. A portion of the used clothing and small household goods collected are donated to STEPS clients; the rest is sold to our partner retail outlets or to resource collection entities.

Each drop site is visited daily to ensure that the contents are collected promptly and the site is kept clean and secure. We will also perform value-added functions such as parking lot clean-up.

Our collection bin program provides daily work in a safe environment for our recovering clients. Whether they are providing cleaning help, sorting, loading, or driving one of our fleet of trucks, our clients are gaining experience by showing up to work every day and performing to the best of their abilities.

Clothing Donations

Donate your gently used clothing and small household items at any of our many green STEPS bins located throughout the Northern part of the GTA. We accept women’s and children’s clothing, accessories, and shoes.

Monetary Donations

Your financial support is always welcomed and appreciated. STEPS is a registered charity so a tax receipt will be issued for donations of $50 or more.

Gifts in Kind

Your donation of food, office supplies, computer supplies, and equipment would be used to support our services and programs, or donated to our guests in recovery.
