STEPS RECYCLING

STEPS receives funding from an established network of well maintained collection bins throughout the GTA. These bins receive both donated clothing and miscellaneous merchandise. These materials are collected by our trucks daily, taken to our central warehouse and sorted. A portion of the materials are donated to STEPS clients, the rest is sold to our partner retail outlets or to resource collection entities. This business allows STEPS the ability to provide work for our clients on a daily basis, in a safe environment, in accordance with their abilities. Whether they are providing cleaning help, sorting, loading or driving one of our fleet of trucks they are gaining experience by showing up to work every day and putting in the amount of hours that they are able. As their time at STEPS goes on, they are able to do more and their compensation increases accordingly.
